Mother's Day is just around the corner.  May 10th to be exact.  As I worked on providing our customers with a special sale this week, you know picking out items that Mom may enjoy getting.  I came across the Akiane Art Print, "Mother's Love," I was reminded of Mary's love for her son Jesus and her sacrifice along with His. 

I was also reminded of how much I love my daughter.  How deep a love a Mom has for her child.

I was also reminded how deep a love a child has for their Mom.  I was constantly reminded of what I had lost this past year.  My mother passed away in July and in the holidays to follow, (her birthday, Thanksgiving, my birthday in December, Christmas and now Mother's Day), grief is a very hard process to deal with.  Yet, once again I face another hard day ahead on Mother's Day without my Mom.  I miss her very much!

I truly love being a Mom.  I will still enjoy the day, but my Mom will be on my mind and in my heart, just as she has been always. 

I somehow want to remind everyone to remember their mother on Mother's Day.  One day you will be faced with those same hard days that I have faced this last year.  Everyone has to leave this earth someday and we do not know the day or the hour.  So, if your Mom is still celebrating your life with you, celebrate her on Mother's Day.  Give her your gift of LOVE!
